Self-Navigate to Resources
There are hundreds of social service providers and more than 2000 programs available to the residents Kent County. But for most people, navigating the system to get help is difficult, time consuming, and frustrating. Too many Grand Rapidians are suffering, and they don’t need to.
We Can Streamline Your Search
We have partnered with local organizations in network that commits to serving you within 72 hours. We can also connect you to out of network services. We also track every referral, so you actually get the help you need. Referrals themselves are not enough. We work to make sure that if they don’t have capacity to support you or have shifted services, you still get what you need. Think of our service like a resource navigation concierge.
We would love to help you find what you need quickly and without the hassle. Ask our virtual assistants, CONNY (in English) or CONSUELO (in Spanish), by clicking on the buttons below.
Urgent Need for Housing?
Community Housing Connect is a local resource that integrates many housing providers in our area into an integrated process. We are here, because no one should face homelessness alone. No one.
Self-Navigate Using these Resource Databases
There are two navigation sites to help you find the help you need on your own if you prefer.
Heart of West Michigan United Way manages a localized and holistic program database for Kent County. The 2-1-1 program receives thousands of calls a year and providing support to so many of our neighbors enables them to keep current on social service programs as they shift and evolve.
AuntBertha has created a nation-wide social care network that connects people and programs — making it easy for people to find social services in their communities. Their hand-curated database and sophisticated platform is easy to navigate and allows you to quickly pinpoint resources that can address your area of concern.
